West Allis Central High School is a member of the Woodland Conference for all WIAA-sponsored sports, except Hockey and those noted below. Hockey is a member of the Classic 8 Conference. The Woodland Conference is comprised of two divisions with the following set-up:

*Compete in Greater Metro Conference (GMC) for football. In girls tennis, boys tennis and gymnastics (which includes Divine Savior Holy Angles) West Allis Central participates as part of a West Allis Hale lead co-op and also is in the GMC. Further, West Allis Central leads co-ops with West Allis Hale in girls' swim and dive, boys' volleyball, boys' soccer and boys' swim and dive. Lastly, in Boys Golf West Allis Central competes in the Woodland-East Division.

West Allis Central High School is a member school of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA). As a member of the association, we are bound to follow all rules as established by the WIAA and its member schools. As a WIAA member, West Allis Central High School is automatically a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). The NFHS serves its members by providing leadership for the administration of education-based interscholastic activities, which support academic achievement, good citizenship and equitable opportunity.
